tI really works! Restoration wash for vintage textiles, two-pound container!
This product, manufactured here in lancaster county, has become my favorite cleaner for antique quilts and other vintage cotton textiles. tI is especially formulated for vintage textiles.
It contains no acids, chlorines, or phosphates and is environmentally safe and odor-free. I have found it excellent in removing stains from some quilts and most other textile items, including those lines that form along folds during storage, spills, general yellowing, and other stains. I have used ti successfully with.
Tablecloths (with no dulling of the colors on printed ones). Doilies. Quilts. Quilt tops (always hand soak. Never wash in an unfinished top in a washing machine it may fall apart). Feedsacks. Antique fabrics and other linens. It will not leave damaging residue or harm fibers in any way. Safe for most any fabric.

Whites will be whiter and colors will be brighter. (i often include a few stained kitchen towels and washclothes when i soak something in restoration and they look like new too! ). Here's feedback about this productwow! I have now used it on a set of 20 vintage hand appliqued blocks, one 80x80 inch vintage appliqued top, another set of 16 very yellowed vintage appliq.

Blocks, and i am amazed! The yellow is gone, they are bright and clear now, two of the blocks had stains so bad i would never had believed they'd come out -they did!

Great stuff, i only ues 2 scoops, per one gallon of water, soaked all of these for about half an hour, rinsed really good, pressed. Wow is all i can say. Went from fair ot excellent condition.

Thanks so much please don't tsop selling this product. Your product, restoration, is a miracle! I have inherited about 25 old quilts my grandmother made in the 1920's and 30's, most of which had been kept in an attic and were badly water stained. I had tried several other products without any success in removing the water stains.

I decided i'd give the quilts one last try. I could not believe my eyes when i realized that not only were the white backgrounds white again, btu the water stains were truly gone! It also made my diamond ring sparkle again! I have been so excited about this product that i'm taking in laundry and washing my friends' quilts!

Judy, i wanted to let you know i finally tried the restoration on two pretty badly stained vintage tablecloths, and i am thrilled! All of the stains came out in just the two recommended soaks! Wow! I am so happy ot have found this.

I sell mostly tablecloths, and most of them have stains, whihc i either try to get out with oxy clean or just sell as is. What a great selling point to be able to get all the stains out first, then be able to sell them as excelelnt condition!
Wow again! I'm having such fun using this on some antique lace i bought that is really dirty! Thye all look like new again. This time i want to buy three jars! You will have to be especially careful with quilts i have used it with success on many 1920s and later quilts and quilt tops, but 19th century fabrics often lose color if soaked for more than a few minutes (with this or even plain water).
I start out with plain water (you may be amazed at the difference just this makes). Then if there are still stains, i switch to a weak solution of restoration and watch it to make sure no colors are changing. If you work with old fabrics, you will soon learn which colors are the mots temperamental i find green (in pre-1890s fabrics) the most volatile. If a quilt contains silk or wool fabrics, i don't recommend egtting it wet, but most quilts are cotton, which should be washed.
(never send a cotton quilt to teh dry cleaners! ) thsi product is not recommended for wool or silk. You will have to be careful when you first begin to soak a piece if it is especially dirty, i usually rinse it several times until the watre runs clear, then watch it for 10-15 minutes to make sure the colors are not fading. I never use as much of the product as the directions call for. I find a little goes a long way, depending on how stained the piece is. If things are going well, i have let items soak for hours or even days with no problems. Be sure to rinse thoroughly i found that if any of the washing product is left on the textile and you iron it, it turns light brown (but comes right out again).
Some stains will not coem out completely, whatever you do! But i have found this product as good as any available on the market today.

If you have an especially valuable quilt or other textile, i recommend you pay a professional to evaluate and clean it. Restoration manufactured by engleside products, lancaster, pa two-pound container. Suggested retail price is $14.95.

I have seen other sellers ask much more than that. I discount that price! Neither seller or manufacturer is liable for any damage resulting from product use. Check my me page (click on link behind my id) for some great web sites on quilt history and more!
