This is one of several old quilts i will be listing today in seperate auctions! A wonderful early handsewn countyr quilt! Wonderful primitive pattern. The backing fabric is wonderful tiny red floral pattern.
This early quilt has been a hanger for quite a long time. And has a pocket stitch on the back if you wish to hang it.
It measures approx. 68 x 80. Most likely dates from the late 1800's.
~its in decent shape considering the age and type of fabrics~. There is some fabric loss mostly in the corners and the binding is worn. A few fabric breakdwons throughout mostly the browns. Otehr than that it looks wonderful. Not a quilt to be actually used but a wonderful quilt to display. ~stored for years~. ~unwashed~. ~nice quilting~. ~wonderful conutry colors and fabrics.
